The Faldo Golf Course overview

The Faldo Course at Amendoeira Golf Resort is a classic design with a modern twist with all the makings of a classic parkland course. Due to the location of the course, heather, woodland and sandy tracts have been replaced by cacti, wild herbs, holm oaks, olive trees and desert scrub bunkers. Measuring in at 7,258 yards and a par-72, the Faldo Course is a mid-length course and is not to be underestimated as many hazards await you if your ball strays off line.

Signature Holes

Nick Faldo masterfully put this course together with the idea of creating one of the best courses in Portugal and while every hole can be considered a signature hole, the par-4 12th hole gets the vote for the best hole on the course.

Golfers are met with a magnificent tee shot over a wooded valley to a ridged fairway above. The fairway then doglegs right with the green perched right next to a magnificent oak tree which guards the right-hand edge.
