The course at Falconhead Golf Club is modern in golfing terms; however, it quickly became one of Austin's most highly rated layouts. Designed by experts from the PGA Tour Design Center, this public golf course provides a tough test of golf. The vision of the course was to seamlessly fit Falconhead into the surrounding landscape of West Austin, using the rolling terrain, as well as streams and creeks as key features in its creation.
With five sets of tee boxes, Falconhead can be enjoyed by all levels of golfer. Play from the back tees and you certainly face that of a championship golf course, thanks to the PGA Tour Design team’s influence.
Signature Holes
The par-3 signature 8th hole is visually superb, the green is built on a limestone ledge sitting 30 feet above the creek below, with three waterfalls and two ponds all adding to the beauty and danger of this hole.
