Osprey Point Course overview
Designed by Tom Fazio in 1988, Osprey Point is a wonderful golf course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Measuring just over 6900 yards from the back tees, with 5 tee boxes to play from, the layout presents a great mix of short and long par 4’s as well as risk-reward par 5’s.
Lauded for its generous fairways and playability, golfers will still need to contend with difficult greens and numerous water hazards. Set against a backdrop of natural lagoons and saltwater marshes, Osprey Point is a stunning course that Kiawah Island guests have thoroughly enjoyed over the years.
Signature hole
The signature hole at Osprey Point is the par-3 11th. Playing 223 yards from the tournament tees, golfers face a daunting tee shot that requires a large carry to the green. The surrounding water hazard and beautiful oak trees make this a visually stunning hole.
