Turtle Point Course overview
Renovated in 2016 by Jack Nicklaus, Turtle Point measures in at 7061 yards with 5 different tee boxes to play from. This Kiawah Island course features strategically placed water hazards and tight fairways, forcing layers to think about every shot and is defined by its exciting and enjoyable par 3’s.
The golf course is most well-known for the back 9 which brings golfers out onto the coastline, and with the exception of The Ocean Course, it is the only layout that has ocean views. The idyllic environment and pristine golf course make this a great playing experience.
Signature Holes
The signature hole on the Turtle Point Course is the par-4 15th. Playing 375 yards from the tips, players will be forced to hit their tee shot into a tight, rolling fairway. The wind blowing off the ocean from the left makes the approach shot a difficult one to control. While this hole is undoubtedly a challenge, it also allows players the opportunity to take in the breath-taking ocean views.
