Old Head Golf Links Club overview
Old Head is a spectacular piece of golf real estate, like a diamond of land jutting over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. 40 acres of unspoilt cliffs frame the 180 acres of links and practice area, with breath-taking views and crashing waves some 300 feet below.
A visit here is referred to as ‘The Old Head Experience’ as from the moment you arrive the quality and service levels are exceptional. Facilities include a warm-up range, putting green and short game practice area, and as you would imagine the clubhouse is pretty special too with stunning views of the course and Atlantic Ocean beyond.
Old Head Golf Links Course overview
Old Head Golf Links is a par-72 with five par 5s, five par 3s and eight par 4s, stretching from the ladies’ tees at over 5400 yards to more than 7100 yards from the tips. The course is set up on a daily basis depending on the weather conditions, with nine holes along the cliff tops and the ever-changing sea breezes creating a tough but fair test for all.
To complete your experience, we recommend booking one of their knowledgeable caddies, allowing you to enjoy the walk and soak up the views. This is a special place.
