Teeth of the Dog Course overview
The Teeth of the Dog, a Pete Dye-design, offers a truly memorable experience with seven holes running along the Caribbean Sea. Dye himself is quoted as saying he “created 11 holes and God created seven.”
Offering spectacular views and some iconic par-3s, Teeth of the Dog has long been considered the No.1 course in the Caribbean and regularly ranks highly in Golf Digest’s top 100 in the world.
The course has many tricky doglegs and signature Dye obstacles which will trouble any golfer - and with the frequent trade winds also playing a major factor, scoring well is not easy. Not that you'll mind, this par-72 is one of the game’s great experiences and should be on every golfer's bucket list.
What makes Teeth of the Dog more impressive is the transformation of a rocky wasteland into a world-class golf course.
Signature Holes
The par-3 5th is surely the signature hole, offering an intimidating tee shot to a small green with the ocean both behind and to the left of the green. A difficult but beautiful short hole.
Did You Know?
Teeth of the Dog takes its name from the jagged coral rocks that proliferate the coastline, said to resemble the pointy canine teeth of dogs.
