The Nether Abbey Hotel

The Nether Abbey Hotel started life as a grand seaside house at the turn of the 19th century. With high ceilings, coombes and fireplaces throughout, each room has its character and have all been renovated to a very high standard. With 12 guestrooms and known locally for serving great food, this intimate setting is a great 3-star option that offers excellent value for money.

Golf Courses

In North Berwick, there are two excellent golf courses – the famous West Links and also the Glen Club. Muirfield and Gullane are less than 5 miles away, and there are many hidden gems along this beautiful stretch known as Scotland’s Golf Coast. Luffness New, Dunbar, Kilspindie and Craigielaw are all well worth a visit.

Accommodation

There are 12 individually styled bedrooms at Nether Abbey that have all been recently refurbished. Built with golfers in mind, they each have a locker for your golf equipment and drying facilities are also available in case you get caught out in the elements.

Restaurant & Bars

Dining at Nether Abbey is a real treat due to their philosophy of using locally sourced and seasonally produced ingredients, as well as keeping it simple and making things from scratch (like bread, ice creams and deserts daily). Eating is as formal or informal as you want, with an extensive A La Carte menu available daily along with an excellent bar menu.
