Golf Courses
There are two courses onsite at Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club, the Barony Course and Robber’s Row Course. Both courses are around 6650 yards from the back tees, feature wide fairways, and require precise approach shots to avoid the deep and unforgiving bunkers guarding the greens.

Robber's Row Course
A Pete Dye redesign in 1994, the Robber’s Row Course is one of the two enjoyable layouts at Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club. While this was originally designed by George W. Cobb and Willard C. Byrd in 1967, Dye added his signature touch while maintaining the courses’ Lowcountry feel with plenty of lush trees. Generous fairways are met by well-guarded greens, requiring golfers to be precise with mid- to short-iron approach shots.
Barony Course
Built in the early 1960s, the Barony Course at Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club is one of the oldest courses on Hilton Head Island. The fairways are wide and lined with thick foliage, but it is the approach shots that will prove to be the most difficult. Despite the generous size of the greens, they are well-protected by thick rough as well as deep and unforgiving bunkers. The layout of this course places a premium on accuracy over length. Meanwhile, water hazards come into play on several holes.
