Harbour Town Golf Links overview
The Harbour Town Golf Links is the premier golf course on Hilton Head Island. Since 1969, this Pete Dye designed layout has hosted the PGA TOUR’s annual Heritage Classic. It is the only course in South Carolina that hosts an annual PGA Tour event.
Famously known for the red and white hooped lighthouse beyond the 18th green, this course is open for public play 48 weeks out of the year. Besides the 17th and 18th hole, the rest of the course plays inland, winding its way through the natural woodland.
The course was built with finesse in mind, with narrow fairways and small greens that require a premium on accuracy and shot-making. With four sets of tees to play from, it offers every golfer a truly enjoyable experience.
Signature Hole
Easily identified by the red and white hooped lighthouse in the distance, the signature hole at the Harbour Town Golf Links is the 18th hole. With wide-open views of the Calibogue Sound, this closing hole will give you one final test before heading back to the clubhouse.
