The Shipyard Golf Course overview
Shipyard Golf Club opened in 1970 with the first set of nine holes, The Galleon. Winding its way through oak and pine trees, the greens here are heavily guarded and demand accurate approach shots.
The Clipper may be the most difficult of the courses, requiring a skilful long game and deft touch around the greens. When combined, these two courses create a combination of narrow fairways and treacherous hazards.
The newest of the nines, The Brigantine, opened in 1982 and meanders around lagoons and features slight doglegs and strategically placed bunkers, testing shot-shaping abilities and accuracy.
All three courses offer four tee boxes, with the longest combination playing 6878 yards from the back tees.
