The course was later extended to 18-holes with assistance from Christy O’Connor Jr. Offering fantastic views out to Dingle Bay and with the guarantee of a warm welcome this is a great place to visit for those looking to escape the mass tourists who visit the other big names in the area. You can also be assured of excellent value for money on this wonderfully natural links course.
Dingle Golf Course overview
Dingle Golf Links is an 18-hole links course that measures 6477-yards from the regular tees and provides golfers with a natural layout that simply uses the undulations and contours of the land to create an authentic links experience.
Whilst it does not boast the towering sand dunes of Ballybunion or Tralee it certainly makes up for it with the stunning views of Dingle Bay and its mountainous backdrop out to the Blasket Islands beyond.
A round at Dingle will provide plenty of enjoyment with its variety of holes and excellent greens, as well as an interesting challenge with the prevailing winds and well-placed bunkers.
