Desert Pines Golf Club
Las Vegas, USA
Desert Pines Golf Club overview
Situated just 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Desert Pines Golf Club opened in 1996. The spacious and welcoming clubhouse features men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers, a full-service golf shop, and a bar and grill. Aside from the course, the Golf Practice Center might be its most unique feature. The two-tiered, climate-controlled practice facility has 56 hitting bays that are protected from rain and direct sunlight.
Desert Pines Golf Course overview
The course at Desert Pines Golf Club transports golfers away from the bustling Las Vegas Strip and to a more tranquil area of Nevada. With real pine trees lining the fairways and white sand bunkers guarding the undulating greens, golfers will feel like they are in the Carolina Sandhills while in the middle of the desert.
Desert Pines Golf Club challenges golfers to use every club in the bag thanks to Dye Design who created the course. The course is a par-71 and measures 6222 yards from the back tees, but with several tee boxes, golfers of all handicaps can enjoy the challenge. Despite the shorter length, the course provides a real test with several water hazards and narrow fairways.
Did You Know?
Desert Pines Golf Club was built at the lowest elevation of any course in Las Vegas, helping to protect it from the strong winds that can blow through the open desert.
