Snow Mountain Course overview
The Snow Mountain Course at Paiute Golf Resort was designed by famous golf architect Pete Dye. Located 25 minutes north of Las Vegas in Nevada, Snow Mountain is a desert-style course that plays just over 7000 yards from the tips.
Five tee boxes and wide fairways make this a playable track for any golfer. Water is featured on 7 holes and Dye incorporated his signature railroad-tie bunkers into the course design. Snow Mountain is known for having the best par 3’s onsite at Paiute and the stunning 16th hole is a prime example of that. Course conditions are pristine, and players will be treated to impressive views of the surrounding desert and mountainous landscape.
Signature hole
Known for its par 3’s, the signature hole on Paiute’s Snow Mountain Course is the par-3 16th. Playing 193 yards from the back tees, the 16th is a challenging hole. Players need to carry their ball over a lake onto a well-protected peninsula green. This picturesque hole is the best on the course, offering uninhibited views of the gorgeous Sheep Mountains.
