Club Campestre San José Golf Courses Overview
The course at Club Campestre San Jose was created by the Nicklaus Design team in the foothills of the Sierra del la Laguna Mountain. Whilst the front-nine is relatively flat, the back-nine takes you up to higher ground making use of the mountainous landscape in the area. Ocean views and elevation changes matched with undulating greens and strategic bunkering make for a great test of golf and a visually appealing day on the golf course. Several teeing options are available enabling every golfer to enjoy a game at Club Campestre San Jose.
Signature Hole
The 7th, widely regarded as the signature hole, is a risk-reward double dogleg that plays into a well-bunkered peninsula green. Both precision and power are required off the tee for any hope of getting home in two, though the sensible play is often to play it as a three-shot hole.
