Every hole is unique at Conestoga Creek, with water, sand, trees, rocks and 51 bunkers strategically placed around the course. The par 72 plays a whopping 7,232 yards from the tips and if you steer away from the fairways it will often mean trouble with a punch out or awkward lie.
Signature Holes
Hole number four is the signature at Conestoga, a 394-yard par 4 known as “The Fence Hole”. You will have just 250 yards of fairway before running out of room. The fairway stops the hole drops 25 feet down a cliff where it picks up again.
You must decide to layup off the tee box and have a downhill approach shot, or muscle a drive over the cliff and have a wedge shot in. It is called “The Fence Hole” because, at the top of the cliff, a wood fence runs across reminiscent of the Old West which is the theme at Conestoga.
