Miami Beach Golf Course overview
Surrounded by palm trees and designed by Arthur Hills, the course at Miami Beach Golf Club features a lot of water, typical for a Florida course. In fact, 17 holes at Miami Beach Golf Club have at least one water hazard in its design. Other notable features Arthur Hills used are strategically placed bunkers and trees which come into play by blocking out a player’s approach angles.
The club underwent a $10 million renovation in the early 2000s to help keep it up to standard. The course received new grass, a state-of-the-art irrigation system, and re-sculpted bunkers.
Signature Holes
Reminiscent of the 17th Hole at TPC Sawgrass, the 17th Hole at Miami Beach Golf Club is a 169-yard par-3 which requires a tee shot over a large lake to an island-like green which is fronted by a large horseshoe bunker.
