Champion Course overview
The Champion Course at PGA National Resort is the flagship course at the resort. As host of an annual PGA TOUR event as well as a Ryder Cup and PGA Championship, golfers can walk in the footsteps of some of the game’s best.
From the back tees, the course is 7045 yards long, but there are six tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all abilities. This Jack Nicklaus design has wide fairways and large greens, but strategically placed bunkers and water hazards on most holes provide a formidable yet enjoyable challenge.
Signature Holes
Collectively known as the “Bear Trap,” a nod to designer Jack Nicklaus, holes 15 – 17 are regarded as three of the most demanding consecutive golf holes in the game.
