Pebble Beach Company’s Del Monte™ Golf Course is situated minutes from downtown Monterey and a mile inland from Del Monte Beach. The Del Monte course is a true landmark when it comes to golf out West and has been a big part of the game’s growth since its inception in 1987. Del Monte Golf Course overview

The Del Monte™ Golf Course is famous for its small, well-protected greens and narrow tree-lined fairways. It’s an excellent test and a key ingredient when visiting Pebble Beach on a golf vacation. The Del Monte course is full of history, dating back to its inception as a 9-hole layout in 1897 and five years later stretching to 18 holes. Like any great design, this course has a challenging finish; the 16th is a 421-yard par 4 and the toughest of the holes on the back-nine, 17 a reachable par-5 gives you a great chance at birdie, with the 18th (a shorter par-4) requiring precision on the approach as the green slopes heavily from right to left.
