The Links at Spanish Bay at Pebble Beach Resort
Pebble Beach & Monterey, USA
The Links at Spanish Bay overview
The Links at Spanish Bay™ is located at Pebble Beach® in Monterey, California. The beautiful, links-style course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Tom Watson and offers a Scottish feel in an idyllic setting. The property features practice facilities including a driving range and putting green that allows players to warm up before their round.
After golf, guests can head to STICKS, located at the clubhouse, for drinks, food and stunning views of the golf course and the Pacific Ocean. The Spanish Bay bagpiper can be heard throughout the grounds and puts the golf club to sleep every night, typically playing a half-hour before sunset.
Signature Holes
The par-4 2nd hole (straight and narrow) demands great accuracy from the tee, while the par 3 8th hole (marsh corner) provides great views out to sea and the coastline. Bunkers of every imaginable shape and size provide great defense for the undulating greens.
The 10th-13th holes go away from the coastline and into a more tree-lined environment looping round the back of the hotel. This course is one of the most natural links course in the world, Britain and Ireland included.
