Myrtle Beach National overview
Myrtle Beach National is located 10 miles inland from central Myrtle Beach, along route 501 which takes you to Conway. It is regarded as one of the premier golf venues in this area with three championship Arnold Palmer designed courses. The onsite King’s Pub offers spacious indoor seating with widescreen TVs and an outdoor patio which overlooks the King’s North Course.
Golf Courses
There are three magnificent championship courses at Myrtle Beach National, all of which are Arnold Palmer designs. The King’s Course is regarded as one of the best public courses in the US, featuring a range of challenging and enjoyable holes. South Creek is the shortest of the three courses but requires accuracy from the tee or else the multiple waste bunkers will gobble up any errant shot. The West Course is nestled within the local Carolina pines that create beautiful backdrops on many of the holes.

King's North
Of the three Arnold Palmer courses at Myrtle Beach National the King’s North is the signature layout. Measuring over 7000 yards off the tips and offering many risk-reward holes, it is recognized as one of the best in Myrtle Beach and has been listed as one of ‘America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses’. Look out for the iconic par-3 12th hole with an island green and also the par-5 6th hole called ‘The Gambler’, which has Palmer written all over it!
South Creek
South Creek is regarded as the ‘finesse’ course at Myrtle Beach National. One of three Arnold Palmer designed layouts, it measures just 6400 yards off the tips and requires good accuracy off the tee. With plenty of waste bunkers, dogleg fairways and undulating greens, the course winds through coastal wetlands and hardwood forests, rewarding strategic course management and precise shot-making. Located 10 miles inland from central Myrtle Beach and just 25 minutes from Broadway at the Beach.
West Course
The West Course at Myrtle Beach National is the most forgiving of the 3 Arnold Palmer courses onsite. Measuring just over 6800 yards off the tips, it is carved through Carolina pines and has wide fairways with large greens. Like its sister King’s North Course, there are no houses in sight which definitely gives you that sense of nature. This is an enjoyable golf experience for all levels of golfer, located 10 miles inland from central Myrtle Beach and just 25 minutes from Broadway at the Beach.
