Nefyn & District Golf Course overview
Nefyn & District Golf Club is hard to describe as it is such a spectacular setting for a golf course. There cannot be many places where you can both hook and slice a ball into the ocean in the same round! Nefyn is made up of three loops named front (1-9), Old (10-18) and New (19-27) with the combination of Old and Front the most popular for visiting golfers as it gives the opportunity to experience jaw-dropping holes around the point of the promontory.
Features of the golf course include blind tee shots, strategic bunkering, difficult rough and the ever-present wind. Golfers must also be wary of pedestrians who frequent this area to take in the scenery and visit the famous Ty Coch Inn Pub!
Did You Know?
Golfers can choose to stop for a drink at the Ty Coch Inn during their round. Regarded as one of Wales’ best pubs, it is located just a couple of hundred yards from the golf course on the loop around the point. You can also stay at the Royal Sportsman Hotel when playing this course, only four minutes drive from this club.
