Las Colinas Course
at Mission Resort + Club
Orlando, USA
Las Colinas Course overview
Las Colinas was built as a perfect complement to El Campeón, its sister course at Mission Resort + Club. The course is an inland links style that features wide fairways but demands precise shot placement to shoot a low score. Las Colinas is Spanish for “The Hills” and the name fits it perfectly with the rolling hills throughout the fairways and sloped greens. Similar to El Campeón, the course is void of any houses, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful landscape and wildlife this course has to offer without interruption.
Signature Holes
“Alligator Alley” is the signature par 5 12th hole, the first of the back-to-back par 5s on the course. The risk/reward hole requires precision and strategy with such a narrow fairway, leaving golfers with the option to hit it short off the tee to make it a short par 5 reachable in three or to bring out the driver to go for it in two.
The green is guarded by a bunker in front and a tree hanging over the right side. Regardless of your choice, hitting an errant shot can lead to a high score on this hole.
