Raptor Course
at Grayhawk Golf Club
Scottsdale, USA
Raptor Course overview
The Tom Fazio-designed Raptor Course at Grayhawk is listed among the best public golf courses in Arizona by Golfweek and Golf Magazine and is one of only two Scottsdale courses to have hosted a PGA TOUR event.
The fairways are relatively generous, and the greens are large, but misses will find deep greenside bunkers and grassy collection areas that test the short game. There is much risk versus reward to consider as you plot your way around the Raptor.
From the tips it is 7100 yards in length, however, a selection of tee boxes allows all golfers to take on this 18-hole layout. Stretching across gentle hills and natural arroyos, the Raptor course sits in a very picturesque part of the Sonoran Desert, some beautiful scenery to enjoy whilst testing your golf to the max.
Did You Know?
The Raptor course held the PGA TOUR’s Frys.com Open (now the Safeway Open) in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
