Golf Courses
Innisbrook Golf Resort is world-renowned for its four championship courses, each with a distinct personality and challenge. All designed by legendary architect Lawrence Packard, the courses make Innisbrook one of the top golf resorts in Florida.
-
Copperhead Course - Host of the PGA Tour's Valspar Championship, Copperhead is a demanding test with tree-lined fairways, elevation changes, and tricky greens. The course is ranked within the top 100 courses in Florida.
-
Island Course - Known for its natural beauty, the Island Course wraps around Lake Innisbrook with water on several holes. Its tight fairways and championship pedigree make it a standout.
-
South Course - A forgiving parkland-style layout with wide fairways and scenic views, the South Course is perfect for mixed groups.
-
North Course - Nicknamed “Little Copperhead,” this shorter 9-hole course offers plenty of strategy and is ideal for a warm-up round.
Alongside the excellent courses, the resort boasts a driving range, a dedicated short game practice area, and multiple putting greens.
Travel tip: The best time for golf in Florida is between November and April, when the weather is cooler and drier. Summer months can be hot and humid, so early morning tee times are recommended.

Golf courses at Innisbrook Golf Resort
Copperhead Course
The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Golf Resort is the most recognizable of the four on the property as it hosts the annual Valspar Championship on the PGA TOUR. A favorite among the world’s best golfers, the Copperhead Course winds its way through natural forest and the surrounding lakes. The wildlife here is abundant; during 18 holes, you are likely to see bald eagles, blue herons, fox squirrels, and the occasional alligator.
Island Course
The Island Course opened in 1970 and is considered by many to be as demanding as the Copperhead Course, one of the PGA TOUR’s annual stops. A par-72 playing 7194 yards from the tips with five sets of tee boxes for golfers of all abilities, the course is a unique layout. Water is a prominent feature on many holes, with the middle stretch playing along rolling hills lined with cypress and pine trees.
South Course
The South Course at Innisbrook Golf Resort is reminiscent of a links-style design. The rolling fairways, numerous bunkers, and large waste areas offer a slightly different feel than the other courses on-site. The South is a par-71 and measures 6620 yards from the tips, but offers four tee boxes for players of all abilities. It’s another great challenge to add to your Innisbrook experience and complements the other courses by providing a different style of layout.
