Golf courses at Saddlebrook Resort
Palmer Course
Designed by Arnold Palmer, the Palmer Course at Saddlebrook Resort is a challenge despite its relatively short length of just over 6200 yards. With wide but rolling fairways, golfers will commonly encounter uneven lies. Accuracy on approach shots is crucial to safely land on the small, elevated greens and avoid the tough white-sand bunkers. Putting will also prove to be tricky as the greens are fast and undulating. the Palmer Course is a great complement to its sister course, the Saddlebrook.
Saddlebrook Course
The original layout at Saddlebrook Resort, the Saddlebrook Course was redesigned by Arnold Palmer in 1986. Of the two courses, this one is flatter but longer and tighter. Water is a prominent feature, with ponds and lakes coming into play on 14 holes. The course is framed in towering moss-draped cypress trees, while over 50 thoughtfully placed bunkers help to create a challenging round. Accuracy and distance are paramount to a low score on this Palmer layout.
