The Canyons Course
at TPC San Antonio
Texas, USA
The Canyons Course overview
The Canyons course, designed by Pete Dye, at TPC San Antonio is the perfect complement to its sister The Oaks course, as the differing topography has created two unique layouts. The Canyons course is routed along a rolling ridgetop and features narrow bunkers that run in the direction of play. The elevation changes are more extreme than experienced on The Oaks course and there are some spectacular views of Texas Hill Country and the nearby Cibolo Canyons.
Host to the PGA TOUR Champions San Antonio Championship for five years from 2011, The Canyons course is one that can be enjoyed by all and is considered the easier of the two at the property. As part of the TPC Network, it is always kept in the finest condition and you’ll enjoy a warm welcome and excellent service throughout your time at the club.
Signature Holes
The long par-3 16th hole is often regarded as the signature. Played across a wide gorge to an elevated green it is a tough test as you get towards the end of your round.
