The Pines Course overview
The Flynn and Toomey-designed Pines Course opened in 1929 making the Seaview Hotel a 36-hole property with two contrasting layouts. Unlike the Bay Course, the Pines is carved through the native New Jersey woodlands. Its tree-lined fairways demand accuracy from the tee and elevation changes, several doglegs and plenty of sand traps make it a great addition to the resort. At 6,800 yards from the back tees, it is the longer of the two courses, but multiple teeing options make it playable and enjoyable to all.
Signature Holes
The par-5 10th hole is often considered the signature on the Pines Course, an accurate tee-shot is required to give the chance for reaching the green in two, with the second-shot being played over the course’s only water hazard – a great risk versus reward opportunity.
