Golf Club Overview
Gleneagles Golf is justifiably world-famous, with three courses designed by some of golf's most famous names. You can clearly see Braid's influence on the Kings and Queens courses, whilst the newer PGA Centenary Golf Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup.
The Queen's Course overview
You need to play the Queens Golf Course to experience the true beauty of Gleneagles. Though it’s the shortest of the three Gleneagles 18-hole courses, it should not be underestimated and provides a fearsome test of golf. It has pressed names such as Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros, to bring their A-game. The woodland setting mixes with moorland stretches to give players a truly unique golfing experience. Add to that the water hazards, ditches and lochans that frequently come into play and you’ve got a really enjoyable golf course that players of all levels will enjoy.
The Queen's course with its lush views over the rolling hills and natural wooded beauty inspired golfers of all levels. Accurate play with the tee is a must with the many dog-legs and greens hidden away. Watch out for that South-westerly breeze. Household names such as Sean Connery, Burt Lancaster & Bing Crosby have battled this course.
