Golf Courses

Both the Gainsborough and Constable courses at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club are well-established tracks that have been designed amongst lakes and mature trees to make the golfing experience both challenging and enjoyable. Built-in the early 70s, their designs skilfully incorporate the inherent natural beauty of the surrounding land to produce two brilliant rounds of golf.

Accommodation

The Stoke by Nayland Hotel is located amongst 300 acres of stunning Constable Countryside on the edge of the Dedham Vale. Recognised as a designated "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", this setting was regularly captured in the paintings of artists Gainsborough and Constable, hence the names of the two golf courses. Stoke by Nayland enjoys secluded tranquillity whilst only being an hour away from both London and Stansted Airport.

Stoke by Nayland's bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard and most enjoy magnificent views over the lake and golf courses. All 80 rooms and suites are split into Club Bedrooms, Golf Double Bedrooms, Golf Deluxe Bedrooms and Junior Suites.

Restaurant & Bars

The Lakes Restaurant offers a two AA Rosette standard food, with superb views over the lake and 18th greens of the two courses at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club. The south-facing terrace adjoining the restaurant makes for a very popular pre-dinner drinks area in the summer. For more informal dining then we would suggest you dine in the Peake Bistro, and for an evening drink, the 24-hour Lounge Bar is the perfect spot for a cold beverage.

Spa & Leisure

The state-of-the-art health and fitness centre, Peake Fitness & Spa, features a superb 18m indoor pool, steam room and Jacuzzi, together with a number of health and beauty therapy rooms which offer a wide variety of treatments for both men and women.
