Twenty Ten Golf Course overview
The first course ever to be designed specifically to host the Ryder Cup, the Twenty Ten Course is the jewel in Celtic Manor’s golfing crown and comes with all the risk-and-reward drama associated with golf’s greatest team tournament.
Lace up your golf shoes at lockers that still bear the players’ names and then take on the same challenges faced by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and many more of the world’s best golfers amid some stunning scenery in the beautiful Usk Valley.
Water comes into play on half of the holes and you can take it all in from a Halfway House looking out over the lakelined fairways. Hold your nerve for a grandstand finish with one final breathtaking approach over water to the 18th green, in full view of the balconies of the Twenty Ten Clubhouse.
Signature Hole
The Twenty Ten features many memorable risk-and-reward challenges but the 14th hole best sums up the tests of strategy set out by this epic course. Do you take on the carry down the right to set up a straightforward pitch to the green, or will you leave a daunting approach over another lake by bailing out to the left? Decisions, decisions…
