Dom Pedro Victoria
Vilamoura, Portugal
Victoria Golf Course overview
Designed by Arnold Palmer in 2004 and part of the Dom Pedro Golf Collection, the Victoria Course of Vilamoura is renowned as one of the best courses you can play in the Algarve. Measuring over 7,100 yards in length from the championship tees, the Victoria Course is set in virtually flat surroundings and is known for its numerous water hazards and bunkers which protect the uniquely shaped greens. All levels of golfers will enjoy the course, which rewards and punishes risky shots in the true Arnold Palmer style.
Signature Holes
Chosen by the famed Arnold Palmer, is the seventeenth hole which is a technical par five, ranging from 386 m to 538m at the tips. The hole has water and multiple waterfalls along the right-hand side, as well as some deviously placed bunkers up the fairway. It is unlikely you will make the green in two unless you are a long hitter and even when laying up you will have a challenging approach shot over water which will test your nerve, this hole is known to either make or break your score.
