Golf Courses

Celtic Manor golf is spectacular. To begin with, there is the state-of-the-art Top Tracer Range, where guests can home in their skill with swing stats, ball speed and use the ultimate practice tool before the game. Downstairs is a well-equipped pro-shop where you can stock up on premium brands and balls prior to hitting the track.

The Twenty Ten is the holy grail of golf at Celtic, the Ryder Cup venue is nothing short of iconic, landing its place as one of the best golf courses in Wales. Measuring a staggering 7493 yards from the back-tees, the parkland course has a very links-like feel, with a long rough and water features to play around.

The Montgomerie course, named after its renowned architect Colin Montgomerie, is another stunning parkland course. The dramatic tee shots exhibit magnificent views over the Usk Valley, showcasing the cascading hills which are incorporated into the course.

Roman Road, the OG of all the Celtic Manor courses, was founded in 1995 and since hosting many European Tour events. This par-70 course measures 6406 yards, that has looks over the Severn Estuary has some spectacular holes, including the 16th- its signature. Although the shortest hole on the property, this short par-3 has three bunkers protecting the green demanding accuracy from its players.

Finally, there are two luxurious clubhouses, who often host some big names. While you enjoy your post-game drinks, you can people watch at the 19th holes reminiscing over your round. Top tip- Celtic Manor provide complimentary shuttles across the resort, ensuring you make your tee times and back again for evening reservations.

Accommodation

Celtic Resort welcome its guests to 5-star luxury, with 330 newly refurbished rooms that ensures every golfer has all amenities to rest and recoup after their round. Each en-suite is adorned with marble features, with well-crafted design, adding to the hotels opulent feel.

For golfers who have come in larger groups, there are the Hunter Lodges available. Each lodge is immaculately positioned with views over the rolling hills of the resort, offer open-plan spaces with sauna and hot tubs – perhaps making it a great venue for a stag-do golf trip.
