Myrtlewood Golf Club

Myrtle Beach, USA

Myrtlewood Golf Club

Myrtlewood Golf Club is home to two of the most popular courses in Myrtle Beach, the Palmetto Course and the PineHills Course. While both are great options, the Palmetto Course features welcoming fairways and finishes along the Intracoastal Waterway and the PineHills Course offers tighter fairways and makes great use of mounding and strategically placed water hazards.

Palmetto Course

The easier of the two courses at Myrtlewood Golf Club is the popular Palmetto Course. It plays 6472 yards and is a fond favourite in Myrtle Beach with wide and welcoming fairways winding through the pine forests - a more forgiving challenge than its tougher sister course. With an inland waterway and strategically placed hazards to negotiate, it’s no pushover, but if you’re after an authentic Carolina golf experience that will challenge and delight in equal measure, Myrtlewood is the place to go.

PineHills Course

PineHills at Myrtlewood is a fun and testing layout measuring just over 6600 yards off the tips. Designed by Arthur Hills and recently upgraded with significantly better-putting surfaces and bunkers, PineHills makes great use of mounding and strategically placed water hazards that come into play on 13 holes. The fairways are tight, placing a premium on accuracy off the tee, but it is the greens that are most heavily fortified with sand and water to be avoided on most holes.
